Objectives: The study aimed to compare the effectiveness of carbamazepine and baclofen in the medical management of trigeminal neuralgia.

Materials And Methods: 100 trigeminal neuralgia patients were randomly divided into two groups with 50 samples in each. Group A had patients treated with carbamazepine while Group B comprised of patients treated using baclofen.

Relative importance of VECTRI model parameters in the malaria disease transmission and prevalence.

In this study, a sensitivity analysis on a VECTRI dynamical model of malaria transmission is investigated to determine the relative importance of model parameters to disease transmission and prevalence. Hirschsprung's Disease (HD) is a congenital disorder causing severe constipation in infants and children. Suction rectal biopsy (SRB) is the preferred technique for obtaining tissue samples for histopathological evaluation. In low-resource settings like Malaysia, cost-effective diagnostic approaches are necessary, making single sample SRB valuable.

A UPLC-MS/MS method for quantification of β-N-methylamino-L-alanine (BMAA) in Cycas sphaerica roxb. and its use in validating efficacy of a traditional BMAA removal method.

The presence of neurotoxin β-N-Methylamino-L-alanine (BMAA) in the seeds of Cycas sphaerica is reported for first time. We developed a UPLC-MS/MS method for BMAA quantification by derivatizing with dansyl chloride. The method successfully differentiated L-BMAA from its structural isomer 2,4-diaminobutyric acid (DAB).

Challenges Faced by Cancer Patients in Receiving Health Services During the COVID-19 Pandemic in a Tertiary Care Hospital in Rajasthan.

Background: Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, cancer patients may have faced difficulty accessing health care. This study explored the challenges experienced by cancer patients in availing of healthcare during the pandemic, as well as the vaccination status and prevalence of COVID-19 infection among cancer patients in the year 2021.

Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted in a tertiary care hospital in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, to interview 150 patients from the oncology department using convenience sampling.
