We present a new global QCD analysis of parton distribution functions, allowing for possible intrinsic charm (IC) contributions in the nucleon inspired by light-front models. The analysis makes use of the full range of available high-energy scattering data for Q^{2}≳1  GeV^{2} and W^{2}≳3.5  GeV^{2}, including fixed-target proton and deuteron cross sections at lower energies that were excluded in previous global analyses.

Spinal epidural haematoma after neuroaxial anaesthesia is a rare but serious complication. Most cases are attributed to anticoagulant therapy or bleeding tendency. It presents as an acute spinal cord compression and usually requires emergency surgical decompression.

Predictions of isospin asymmetries of valence and sea distributions are presented which are generated by QED leading Oalpha photon bremsstrahlung effects. Together with isospin violations arising from nonperturbative hadronic sources (such as quark and target mass differences) as well as with even a conservative contribution from a strangeness asymmetry (s not equal to s), the discrepancy between the large NuTeV anomaly result for sin(2Theta(w)) and the world average of other measurements is removed.

The authors describe a case of myocardiopathy, during the third trimester of pregnancy, in a patient without any significant previous cardiac history nor associated obstetrical pathology. The clinical course was uneventful without sequelae. The clinical importance of peri-partum myocardiopathy, especially regarding myocardial sequelae, imposes a differential diagnosis and an analysis of the current state of this pathological process.
