There is no consensus over the optimal dose fractionation schedules for high-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy used for gynaecological malignancy. In Australian public hospital departments of radiation oncology, HDR brachytherapy for gynaecological cancer is being more commonly used. The effect of danazol on tumour control and weight loss in patients on tamoxifen therapy for advanced breast cancer: a randomised double-blind placebo controlled trial.

A series of 21 consecutive patients with carcinoma of the breast and symptomatic choroidal metastases was reviewed. All patients were symptomatic of choroidal metastases at presentation. Most patients had disease progression at other sites at the time of diagnosis.
