This study aims to evaluate how hepatic impairment affects hematological toxicity and progression-free survival (PFS) of palbociclib in advanced hormone receptor-positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative breast cancer, using the National Cancer Institute scoring system, in a large real-world dataset. Although forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV1) and diffusing capacity of the lungs for carbon monoxide (DLCO) are recommended, they are often poor predictors of complications.

Staghorn calculi pose challenges in urology, often necessitating more invasive procedures such as percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) to clear a large stone burden with fewer procedures. Here we present a case of a 76-year-old female with chronic kidney disease and a malrotated right pelvic kidney who underwent PCNL for a 3.5 cm staghorn calculus.
