Purpose Of The Study: The aim of the study was a retrospective evaluation of our patients with post-dysplastic hips treated by cemented or non-cemented total hip arthroplasty (THA) in order to ascertain which type and position of the acetabular component was most effective.
Material: In the years 1999-2002, 111 THA procedures were performed in 93 patients, 76 women and 17 men, with post-dysplastic hip arthritis. The average age of the patients at the time of implantation was 52.
The authors compare their results of the management of the pseudoarthrosis of the navicular bone of the wrist with those reported in the literature. The study group included 21 patients and the Synthes 3.0 mm was applied.
