A Structural Equation Model for Sustainable Supply Chain Management in the Food Industry.

This paper presents a model designed to measure and investigate the relationships between critical factors, practices, and performance of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) in the food industry. A survey of 423 firms in the Greek food industry was conducted to meet these objectives. The data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis, followed by confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling, to explore the relationships between the model's constructs.

A Rare Pancreatic Tail Metastasis from Squamous Cell Lung Carcinoma Diagnosed by EUS-FNB and a Small Review of the Literature.

Differential diagnosis of pancreatic lesions is really challenging, especially when the patient is diagnosed with primary cancer at another site. In this case report, we managed to histologically confirm pancreatic metastasis from squamous cell lung carcinoma, which is a very rare entity, using endoscopic ultrasound fine needle biopsy.

Classification and regression trees for the evaluation of thyroid cytomorphological characteristics: A study based on liquid based cytology specimens from thyroid fine needle aspirations.

Background: This study investigates the potential of classification and regression trees (CARTs) for the evaluation of thyroid lesions.

Methods: The study was performed on 521, histologically confirmed cytological specimens prepared via liquid based cytology. For each specimen, contextual and cellular morphology features were recorded by experienced cytopathologists, as described in everyday cytological practice and The Bethesda System (TBS); these features were subsequently used to construct two CART models, viz.

Co-existence of benign gynecological tumors with endometriosis in a group of 1,000 women.

The purpose of this study was two-fold, first to investigate the association between endometriosis and the risk of benign gynecologic tumors and, secondly, to evaluate the distribution of endometrioma and ovarian cysts in women with endometriosis. The medical and pathological reports of 1,000 women with endometriosis were retrospectively reviewed. The incidence of ovarian cysts, uterine leiomyomas and adenomyosis, as well as the side of ovarian cysts were further compared.

Temporal Space Lymphatic Malformation in a 15-Year-Old Adolescent: An Extraordinary Case.

Lymphatic malformations-previously called lymphangiomas or cystic hygromas-are regarded as non-malignant primary disorders of the lymphatic system. They appear predominantly in infants and children, with 90 % of cases being diagnosed by the age of 2 years. Also, they constitute an infrequent entity, accounting for 5 % of all benign tumors in infants and children.
