Objective: Aim: To study xylate effect on the renal toxin-excreting function with diabetes mellitus (DM) complicated by endogenous intoxication syndrome of purulentseptic genesis.

Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The effect of infusions with sorbilact or Ringer's solution in the regimen 3 ml/kg/hour during 3 hours on toxin-excreting function of the kidneys in patients with type 2 DM complicated by EIS is studied.

Results: Results: In the period of the research, xylate increased cleaning blood plasma (extracellular water space) from the total toxicity by 6,0±1,9 ml/min (230±72,3%, Δ р<0,05).

Article Synopsis
  • Fall-related injuries are a major global issue, particularly affecting low-income and middle-income countries where 80% of fatal falls occur, prompting a study on hip-fracture surgery timelines for individuals aged 50 and older in these regions.
  • The study analyzed data from 4,486 patients across 55 hospitals from various countries, focusing on the time from injury to surgery and identifying factors that contribute to delays in surgical treatment.
  • Findings revealed significant delays in surgical intervention for hip fractures, and multivariable analyses aimed to uncover risk factors linked to these delays to improve patient outcomes.

Objective: The aim: Assess the incidence of caries of temporary teeth in children using the indices drxfm, SIC, ICDAS.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: A survey of 255 children 3 and 6 years old was conducted and 2 research groups were formed. We determined the prevalence, intensity of caries by the expanded formula drxfm, SIC-index and ICDAS II 1-6, as well as determined the Green-Vermilion hygienic index.

Beta-2 microglobulin (B2M) is an immune system protein that is found on the surface of all nucleated human cells. B2M is naturally shed from cell surfaces into the plasma, followed by renal excretion. In patients with impaired renal function, B2M will accumulate in organs and tissues leading to significantly reduced life expectancy and quality of life.

Using the cation-exchange method, colloidal PbS nanoribbons are converted completely into CdS nanoribbons. This process expands the emission spectrum of the nanoribbons from infrared to visible. The morphology of nanoribbons remains the same after cation exchange, but the crystal structure changes from rock salt to zincblende.
