New method of surgical treatment of blood vessel lesions.

Professor Androsov's articles should be of considerable interest to American surgeons, representing as they do a new freedom in the exchange of ideas with the medical profession of the Soviet Union. In recent years no Russian surgeon has sought publication of original work in surgical journals of this country. Early last fall I visited Professor Androsov in Moscow at the Sklifosovsky Institute, a hospital made famous by the late Professor Yudin.
