The sirtuin (SIRT) family is a group of seven conserved nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide-dependent histone deacetylases (SIRT1-SIRT7), which play crucial roles in various fundamental biological processes, including metabolism, aging, stress responses, inflammation, and cell survival. The role of SIRTs in neuro-pathophysiology has recently attracted significant attention. Notably, SIRT1-SIRT3 have been identified as key players in neuroprotection as they reduce neuroinflammation and regulate mitochondrial function.

In China, there is a widespread dissemination of PCV2 infection in the pig population. Serological diagnosis of the disease is considered as an effective control measure.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study involving adults undergoing elective craniotomy at West China Hospital, from January 2011 and March 2021.
17β-estradiol (E2) is an endocrine disruptor, and even trace concentrations (ng/L) of environmental estrogen can interfere with the endocrine system of organisms. Lignin holds promise in enhancing the microbial degradation E2. However, the mechanisms by which lignin facilitates this process remain unclear, which is crucial for understanding complex environmental biodegradation in nature.

Eu-doped ZnO QDs at varying concentrations (0-7%) were successfully prepared using a wet chemical method. The successful doping of Eu ions into the ZnO host lattice, as well as the composition and valence states of the elements present in the sample, were confirmed through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analyses.
