Relaxation-optimized correlation spectroscopy ROCSY for assigning H or C spin systems in large proteins.

Solution NMR studies of large systems are hampered by rapid signal decay. We hereby introduce ROCSY (relaxation-optimized total correlation spectroscopy), which maximizes transfer efficiency across J-coupling-connected spin networks by minimizing the amount of time magnetization spends in the transverse plane. Hard pulses are substituted into the Clean-CITY TOCSY pulse element first developed by Ernst and co-workers, allowing for longer delays in which magnetization is aligned along the z-axis.

Basic Science and Pathogenesis.

Background: There is growing evidence that epigenetic age acceleration may predict late life cognitive decline and dementia, but it is unknown whether this is due to accelerated neurodegeneration or reduction in cognitive resilience. Method: DNA methylation and plasma t-tau (Simoa assay; Quanterix) data from 2091 Framingham Heart Study Offspring cohort participants were generated from blood at the same Exam 8 visit (2005-2008).

Introduction: For chronic rhinitis (CR) refractory to medical management, several ablative procedures exist that target the posterior nasal nerve (PNN). Here we compare outcomes of PNN surgical neurectomy to in-office ablative procedures.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed patients with CR who trialed ipratropium at our center from 2013 to 2024 and received PNN ablation (cryoablation or radiofrequency) or neurectomy.
