  • Despite varying coverage rates (43% for one dose and 34% for two doses), higher vaccination rates were seen in schools compared to the community, and there were no reports of severe adverse effects, indicating the campaign's effectiveness.

A 12-year-old spayed female domestic shorthair cat was evaluated for a 3-week history of abdominal distension. Chyloabdomen secondary to pancreatic carcinoma was diagnosed. The cat was palliatively managed using rutin and a low-fat diet.

An eight-year-old male English Setter was referred for management of a dislocation of a cemented dual mobility canine total hip prosthesis that occurred four months after the initial surgery. Revision surgery showed that the dislocation was associated with fracture of the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene liner. The dislocation was successfully reduced after replacing the liner.
