Microstructure Optimization of Mg-Alloys by the ECAP Process Including Numerical Simulation, SPD Treatments, Characterization, and Hydrogen Sorption Properties.

Both numerical simulation and hardness measurements were used to determine the mechanical and microstructural behavior of AZ31 bulk samples when submitted to the Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) technique. Billets of this representative of Mg-rich alloys were submitted to different numbers of passes for various ECAP modes (anisotropic A, isotropic B). The strain distribution, the grain size refinement, and the micro-hardness were used as indicators to quantify the effectiveness of the different processing routes.

High-dose radioactive iodine therapy is associated with decreased risk of recurrence in high-risk papillary thyroid cancer.

Objectives: We aimed to determine the effect of adjuvant radioactive iodine dose on recurrence rate in high-risk papillary thyroid cancer.

Methods: More than 1,500 patients treated for papillary thyroid cancer at high-volume centers in France and the United States from 2004-2014 were reviewed. Patients considered at high risk for recurrence per the 2015 American Thyroid Association guidelines were analyzed and grouped by initial radioactive iodine dose: intermediate (median 100 mCi) or high dose (median 150 mCi).

A total incidence of flight personnel third place takes surgical pathology, which is one of the leading causes of disqualification. Conditions that determine occupational health status of flight personnel with surgical diseases are appropriate therapeutic and preventive measures and regular medical monitoring. In purposes of qualified decision of diagnosis, treatment, examination, treatment and preventive measures of surgical pathology in flight personnel it is suggested to develop in accordance with the guidelines and latest developments in surgery "Guidelines for the medical health monitoring of flight personnel in surgical diseases of the aviation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation".

[Functional status of organism in the process of routine military-professional activity in women serving in armed forces].

The functional status of 143 female soldiers the Army of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are studied in order to predict the success of the military profession (CPA) through the use of a set of psychological and socio-psychological methods. He calculations predicted the success of the CPA were performed using a multiple regression equation, compiled on the basis of correlation and regression analysis. It was established that female soldiers are classified as those with low adaptive capacity, it is difficult to adapt to new conditions.
