This study presents a new procedure for high-precision Sm isotope analysis by thermal ionisation mass spectrometry (TIMS) for geological samples. A four-step chemical separation scheme results in sharp separation of Sm and Nd from the same sample aliquot. The first step utilises anion exchange resin to remove Fe from the sample solution.

In this work, we propose a novel anatomy-informed multimodal deep learning framework to predict future MI from clinical data and Invasive Coronary Angiography (ICA) images. The images are analyzed by Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) guided by anatomical information, and the clinical data by an Artificial Neural Network (ANN).

Multimodal treatment programmes have shown greater efficacy than conventional approaches for these patients, at least in the short term. A profound understanding of chronic musculoskeletal pain syndrome patients treated in multimodal treatment programmes is important for their development and to provide insight into these conditions.

Among chest X-ray (CXR) landmarks for tips assessment, only the pericardial reflection lies in the same plane as the vascular structures. We aimed to evaluate the observer variability to determine tip positioning on CXR, using CT as a gold standard.
