Receptor-interacting protein 3 (Ripk3) plays a crucial part in acute lung injury (ALI) by regulating inflammation-induced endothelial damage in the lung tissue. The precise mechanisms through which Ripk3 contributes to the endothelial injury in ALI still remain uncertain. In the current research, we employed Ripk3-deficient (Ripk3) mice to examine the role of Ripk3 in ALI progression, focusing on its effects on endothelial cells (ECs), mitochondrial damage and necroptosis.

Introduction: Nutrition is closely related to body health. A reasonable diet structure not only meets the body's needs for various nutrients but also effectively prevents many chronic diseases. However, due to the general lack of systematic nutritional knowledge, people often find it difficult to accurately assess the nutritional content of food.

Somatic cells can be reprogrammed into pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) by overexpressing defined transcription factors. Specifically, overexpression of OCT4 alone has been demonstrated to reprogram mouse fibroblasts into iPSCs. However, it remains unclear whether any other single factor can induce iPSCs formation.

Objective: Potassium voltage-gated channel sub-family A member 1 (Kv1.1), as a shaker homolog potassium channel, displays a special mechanism for posttranscriptional regulation called RNA editing. Adenosine deaminase acting on RNA 2 (ADAR2) can cause abnormal editing or loss of normal editing, which results in cell damage and related diseases.

Background: Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is recommended for patients with KMT2A-rearranged (KMT2A-r) leukemia whereas relapse remains high. We aimed to determine whether intensified conditioning containing decitabine (Dec) could reduce relapse compared with standard myeloablative conditioning in adult patients with KMT2A-r leukemia.

Methods: We performed a multicenter retrospective study at seven institutions in China.
