This study aims to investigate the demographic factors associated with femoral shaft fracture nonunion by comparing two surgical management approaches: open reduction internal fixation (ORIF) with plating versus closed reduction and fixation using intramedullary nailing (IMN).

Background: This study aimed to determine if the neoadjuvant (NAT) KEYNOTE-522 regimen was associated with higher rates of pathologic complete response (pCR), corresponding to higher rates of breast conservation therapy (BCT) in early-stage triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) patients.

Patients And Methods: Stage II-III TNBC patients diagnosed between 2019 and 2022 who underwent NAT were analyzed retrospectively. NAT with KEYNOTE-522 versus control NAT were compared for rates of BCT, axillary node dissection (ALND), pCR, and survival outcomes.

Molnupiravir is registered or authorized in several countries as a 5-d oral coronavirus disease 2019 treatment for adults. Molnupiravir is a prodrug of the antiviral ribonucleoside β-D-N4-hydroxycytidine (NHC) that distributes into cells, where it is phosphorylated to its pharmacologically active ribonucleoside triphosphate (NHC-TP) form. NHC-TP incorporates into severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 RNA by the viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, resulting in an accumulation of errors in the viral genome, leading to inhibition of viral replication and loss of infectivity.
