Deadenylation is a major process that regulates gene expression by shaping the length of mRNA poly(A) tails. Deadenylation is controlled by factors in trans that recruit or impede deadenylases, by the incorporation of non-adenosines during poly(A) tail synthesis, and by the posttranscriptional addition of 3' nucleotides to poly(A) tails. Deciphering the regulation of poly(A) tail shortening requires both transcriptome-wide approaches and more targeted methodologies, allowing deep analyses of specific mRNAs.

RSA allows a good anterior elevation but rotational results are more random and depend on tuberosity healing.
Hypothesis: Use of an offset modular system (OMS) on the prothesis improve tuberosity healing and functional results.
Objectives: To compare the prevalence of clinical complications between two different telescopic Herbst systems: the conventional telescopic system, with traditional rod and tube (RMS), and the Manni telescopic Herbst appliance (MTH).
Materials And Methods: Ninety subjects treated with RMS were compared to 89 patients treated with MTH. All of the complications that occurred were reported, and percentages of prevalence were calculated.

Heterotopic pancreas is the presence of pancreatic tissue outside the anatomical location of the pancreas. It is a rare condition and can occur anywhere in the gastrointestinal tract with the stomach and small bowel as the most common sites. It is usually asymptomatic but may become clinically evident when complicates by pathologic changes such as inflammation, bleeding, obstruction and malignant transformation.

Purpose: To present a rare case of multiple fibroadenomas in breast and vulva and myomas in the uterus. In addition, to show the usefulness of receptor detection as a basis for the indication of antiestrogens.
Case: A 30-year-old patient presenting with a history of mammary fibroadenomas since the age of 16 years and uterine myomas since the age of 25 years.
