During the first wave of COVID-19, nearly 50% of France's fatalities occurred in nursing homes. Older people with mental health disorders are considered to be more prone to infections when epidemics arise. To test this hypothesis, we conducted a retrospective descriptive and comparative study of the incidence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection in a cohort of elderly residents with or without severe mental illness (SMI) living in a French nursing home facility.

Study Design: Among 473 primary stapedectomies, 16 were performed in patients over 65 years old and were retrospectively reviewed. Hearing results were compared with those of a randomly selected group of 16 patients younger than 65 years old.
Objective: The aim of this study was to determine causes and evaluate results of revision stapedectomy.
Design: Retrospective review of 73 revision stapedectomies.
Setting: Revision stapedectomies were performed in two tertiary otolaryngology departments (Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild, Paris, France, and Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc, Bruxelles, Belgium).

The aim of this study was to evaluate the perilymphatic pressure, by means of the MMS-10 Tympanic Displacement Analyzer (TDA), in patients with Meniere's disease (MD). Measurements were performed in 37 patients with MD and in 14 normal-hearing subjects. Data were collected from 3 groups: healthy ears of normal-hearing subjects, unaffected ears of patients with MD, and affected ears of patients with MD.
