The present study reports the synthesis of FeO nanoparticles on sawdust (FeO@PS) using a leaf extract. The morphology and structure of FeO@PS were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance. The adsorption capacity of the system was evaluated by testing its ability to remove the Rhodamine B (RhB) dye.

Article Synopsis
  • The study focuses on the significance of livestock mobility in agrarian systems and the lack of detailed data on herding practices, particularly in the Sahel region.
  • Utilizing GPS-based behavioral models, researchers tracked cattle herds over 2.5 years to better understand their movements and activities.
  • The results identified key activity states (resting, foraging, traveling) and how environmental factors affect them, contributing to knowledge about Sahelian pastoral practices and offering a methodology for future research.

The replication of RNA viruses relies on the activity of RNA-dependent RNA polymerases (RdRps). Despite large variations in their genomic sequences, viral RdRps share a common architecture generally known as a closed right hand. The P2 polymerase of cystovirus φ6 is currently among the best characterized viral RdRps.
