In this study, evaporation-induced size segregation and interparticle interactions are harnessed to tune the microstructure of photocatalytic colloidal coatings containing TiO nanoparticles and polymer particles. This enabled the fabrication of a library of five distinct microstructures: TiO-on-top stratification, a thin top layer of polymer or TiO, homogeneous films of raspberry particles, and a sandwich structure. The photocatalytic and antibacterial activities of the coatings were evaluated by testing the viability of Methicillin-resistant (MRSA) bacteria using the ISO-27447 protocol, showing a strong correlation with the microstructure.

This has led to an increased demand for cost-effective gas sensors to monitor air quality. Here we have developed a gas sensor using CoNiOnanoparticles through combustion method.

The study incorporated a lagged design (two waves), a large sample size (n = 563), and examined both temperament and personality as both dimensions and profiles. Overall, we found very limited evidence of trait continuity, with generally very weak and few statistically significant observed associations of infant temperament with early adulthood personality.

As technological innovations change the nature of work, self-determination theory can provide insight into how the resulting uncertainty and interdependence might influence worker motivation, performance and well-being. In this Review, we summarize what self-determination theory has brought to the domain of work and how it is helping researchers and practitioners to shape the future of work.

The spread and persistence of SARS-CoV-2 in diverse indoor environments reinforces the urgent need to supplement distancing and PPE based approaches with effective engineering measures for microbial decontamination - thereby addressing the significant risk posed by aerosols. We hypothesized that a portable, single-pass UVC air treatment device (air flow 1254 L/min) could effectively inactivate bioaerosols containing bacterial and viral indicator organisms, and coronavirus without reliance on filtration technology, at reasonable scale.
