"You're in an Image of a Man but Not a Man": A Qualitative Analysis of Intersectional Stigma Among Men with HIV Experiencing Subfertility in Rural Southwestern Uganda.

Many men with HIV (MWH) want to have children and may encounter HIV- and infertility-related stigma experiences. Integration of reproductive health and HIV care for men is rare. When available, safer conception care focuses on HIV prevention but lacks fertility support.

Synthesis and characterization of isostructural annulated actinocenes.

An isostructural series of four annulated actinocene complexes, M(hdcCOT) (M = Th, U, Np, Pu), is reported. The syntheses proceed through a trivalent starting material when M = U, Np, Pu with subsequent oxidation or, in the case of M = Th, directly from ThCl(DME). X-ray crystallography shows that each actinocene has molecular point symmetry in the solid state, with the metal atoms symmetrically bonded to two 10π-aromatic [8]annulene dianion rings.

The "CUPCAKE" technique (coiled underlying pseudoaneurysm contained by a woven endobridge device) for treating intracranial aneurysms with atypical morphology.

Background: Intrasaccular flow diversion using the woven endobridge device (WEB; MicroVention, Aliso Viejo, CA, USA) for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms has demonstrated large scale safety and efficacy. However, limitations arise from its structural configuration, restricting its application to specific aneurysm sizes and shapes.

Technique Overview: We introduce the CUPCAKE technique, a combination of conventional coiling followed by WEB intrasaccular flow disruption in select cases of atypical aneurysms with technically challenging morphology not typically treatable by WEB alone.

Ion-Ion Association in Bulk Mixed Electrolytes Using Global and Local Electroneutrality Constraints.

Ion atmospheres play a critical role in modulating the interactions between charged components in solutions. However, a detailed description of the nature of ion atmospheres remains elusive. Here, we use Kirkwood-Buff theory, an exact theory of solution mixtures, together with a series of local and bulk electroneutrality constraints to provide relationships between all the net ion-ion distributions in bulk electrolyte mixtures.
