Neo-BCV: A Novel Bacterial Liquid Complex Vaccine for Enhancing Dendritic Cell-Mediated Immune Responses Against Lung Cancer.

Background: In the past decade, immunotherapy has become a major choice for the treatment of lung cancer, yet its therapeutic efficacy is still relatively limited due to the various immune escape mechanisms of tumors. Based on this, we introduce Neo-BCV, a novel bacterial composite vaccine designed to enhance immune responses against lung cancer.

Methods: We investigated the immune enhancing effect of Neo-BCV through in vivo and in vitro experiments, including flow cytometry, RNA-seq, and Western blot.

The default-interventionist model of dual-process theories proposes that stereotype descriptions in base-rate problems are processed using Type 1 processing, while the evaluation of base rates depends on Type 2 processing. The logical intuition view posits that people can process base-rate information using Type 1 processing. This study examined the logical intuition view using the instructional manipulation paradigm.

Pro-angiogenic effects of Guo Min decoction in a zebrafish model.

Objectives: Guo Min decoction (GMD) is a Chinese traditional medicine that can regulate allergy-related symptoms. Although GMD treatment was reported to treat allergy-associated symptoms by regulating the immune response, the rationale between GMD treatment and angiogenesis has not been reported yet. Our objective is to investigate the angiogenesis-modulating activity of GMD.

Effect of Fabricating Process on the Performance of Two-Dimensional p-Type WSe Field Effect Transistors.

Two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), such as WSe, are promising candidates for next-generation integrated circuits. However, the dependence of intrinsic properties of TMD devices on various processing steps remains largely unexplored. Here, using pristine p-type WSe devices as references, we comprehensively studied the influence of each step in traditional nanofabrication methods on device performance.

Intact N-glycopeptide analysis of human platelets reveals a Glycostructure important for platelet function.

Glycosylation is an important posttranslational modification in platelets, and the glycosylation pattern is critical for platelet function. To date, the exploration of the roles of various glycoforms in specific platelet functions is largely lacking. In this study, a global analysis of intact N-glycopeptides in human platelets was performed to map all the glycopeptides, glycosites and glycans of platelets.
