Hydrogen sulfide (HS) is an endogenously produced gasotransmitter involved in many physiological processes that are integral to proper cellular functioning. Due to its profound anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, HS plays important roles in preventing inflammatory skin disorders and improving wound healing. Transdermal HS delivery is a therapeutically viable option for the management of such disorders.

Previously, we demonstrated that the lack of depth penetration of UV excitation required to sensitize discrete terbium and europium complexes can be overcome using Cherenkov radiation emitted by clinically employed radioisotopes in situ. Here, we show that the second-generation europium complexes [Eu(pcta-PEPA)] and [Eu(tacn-pic-PEPA)] (Φ = 57% and 76%, respectively) lower the limit of detection (LoD) to 1 nmol in the presence of 10 μCi of Cherenkov emitting isotopes, F and Ga.

Methods And Materials: A retrospective study was conducted on CBCT taken for other purposes in the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Department. All the quantitative measurements were performed between the incisive canal and both maxillary central incisors using CBCT on 61 subjects.
Introduction: This study evaluated the presence of midmesial canals (MMCs) in a random sample of mandibular molars and the relationship of the intracanal distance between mesiobuccal (MB) and mesiolingual (ML) canal orifices.
Methods: Fifty-one extracted mandibular molars were divided into samples of 3 to 4 teeth, mounted in plaster and boxing wax, and immersed in water before cone-beam computed tomographic (CBCT) imaging. Two endodontic residents completed the access openings.
