Background: There are limited therapeutic options in cases of failed reperfusion (modified thrombolysis in cerebral infarction [mTICI] score < 2b) after stent-retriever and/or aspiration based endovascular treatment (EVT) for acute ischemic stroke. Despite the absence of data supporting its use, rescue therapy (balloon angioplasty and/or stent implantation) is often utilized in such cases. Studies are limited to large vessel occlusions, while the outcomes and complications after rescue therapy in medium/distal vessel occlusions (MDVOs) have not been reported.

While these conditions may co-occur, they usually require different management approaches. This study aims to evaluate whether TSS stenting alone, without targeted treatment of SSWAs, is sufficient to resolve PT in patients presenting with PT, TSS, and SSWAs.

The aim of this work was to answer the following questions: 1) What are the incidence and mean values of LLD after PFFA? 2) What are the clinical consequences (tolerance) of LLD after PFFA? 3) Can we identify risk factors for LLD after PFFA? 4) Is there a significant difference in terms of LLD after PFFA to treat intra- versus extra-capsular fractures?
Hypothesis: LLD after proximal femoral fracture arthroplasty is rare but has good clinical tolerance, given the low functional demands of the patients.
Patients And Methods: This is a multicenter prospective observational cohort study (15 centers), including 590 patients, operated on for hip arthroplasty for proximal femur fracture between May 2022 and June 2023.

Objective: To investigate the nature and availability of evidence on the clinical performance of posterior partial coverage restorations (PCR) fabricated from different ceramic materials, outcome definitions, measurement methods, study drop-outs and follow ups.
Overview: A systematic literature search (inception-February 2024) was performed through MEDLINE, Scopus, CENTRAL, ClinicalTrials.gov, and the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform to identify clinical studies with a focus on posterior PCRs (onlays, occlusal veneers and partial crowns) with a minimum follow-up of 1 year.
Alternative splicing enhances protein diversity in different ways, including through exonization of transposable elements (TEs). Recent transcriptomic analyses identified thousands of unannotated spliced transcripts with exonizing TEs, but their contribution to the proteome and biological relevance remains unclear. Here, we use transcriptome assembly, ribosome profiling, and proteomics to describe a population of 1,227 unannotated TE exonizing isoforms generated by mRNA splicing and recurrent in human populations.
