Objective: To investigate the long-term impact of half-fluence photodynamic therapy (PDT) on chorioretinal architecture in chronic central serous chorioretinopathy (cCSCR) through novel choroidal vascularity index (CVI) versus previously established subfoveal choroidal thickness (SFCT).

Methods: This post-hoc analysis included prospectively collected swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) images of a total of 29 cCSCR and fellow eyes (FE), acquired before, one and 12 months after PDT. CVI, total choroidal area (TCA), luminal area (LA) and stromal area (SA) were calculated using validated binarization technique.

The brown marmorated stink bug (), a native of Asia, has become an invasive pest in North America and Europe. Given the severity of and the need for better and environmentally-friendly control methods for this pest, we evaluated the virulence four entomopathogenic nematode species (, and ) that occur naturally in soils in southern Việt Nam and compared them with that of a commercially available strain of . Prenatal diagnostic testing of amniotic fluid, chorionic villi, or more rarely, fetal cord blood is recommended following a positive or unreportable noninvasive cell-free fetal DNA test, abnormal maternal biochemical serum screen, abnormal ultrasound, or increased genetic risk for a cytogenomic abnormality based on family history. Although chromosomal microarray is recommended as the first-tier prenatal diagnostic test, in practice, multiple assays are often assessed in concert to achieve a final diagnostic result. The use of multiple methodologies is costly, time consuming, and labor intensive.
