Environmental impacts are a cause for concern when developing and expanding aquaculture and to be sustainable potential negative effects need to be addressed. The intensity and extent of these impacts likely vary among sites and seasons, depending on multiple factors including the physical and biological setting and operational aspects. Using a combination of sampling techniques, we investigated the spatial variability in epibenthic impacts in eleven commercial mussel farms, on the Swedish west coast.

Furthermore, EPA is an FDA-approved treatment of patients with high risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD); however, the cardioprotective mechanisms are unclear.
Objectives: We aimed to determine if fish oil supplementation is cardioprotective due to beneficial modifications in HDL particles.
Purpose: Stereotactic body radiation therapy for tumors near the central airways implies high-grade toxic effects, as concluded from the HILUS trial. However, the small sample size and relatively few events limited the statistical power of the study. We therefore pooled data from the prospective HILUS trial with retrospective data from patients in the Nordic countries treated outside the prospective study to evaluate toxicity and risk factors for high-grade toxic effects.
