Introduction: Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a disorder of unknown etiology. Some viruses have been associated with CFS etiology, specially herpesviruses, enteroviruses and retroviruses. Some studies suggest an association between human herpesvirus-6 (HHV-6) and CFS.
