Hepatocytes are organized into distinct zonal subsets across the liver lobule, yet their contributions to liver homeostasis and regeneration remain controversial. Here, we developed multiple genetic lineage-tracing mouse models to systematically address this. We found that the liver lobule can be divided into two major zonal and molecular hepatocyte populations marked by Cyp2e1 or Gls2.

Method: A systematic search was conducted in PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus, combining keywords such as "cholecystectomy" or "post-cholecystectomy" with "gut microbiome," "stool microbiome," or "gut dysbiosis.
Aggregation-induced emission luminogen (AIEgens)-based photothermal therapy (PTT) has grown into a sparkling frontier for tumor ablation. However, challenges remain due to the uncoordinated photoluminescence (PL) and photothermal properties of classical AIEgens, along with hyperthermia-induced antiapoptotic responses in tumor cells, hindering satisfactory therapeutic outcomes. Herein, a near-infrared (NIR) spiro-AIEgen was designed for boosted PTT by auxiliary DNAzyme-regulated tumor cell sensitization.

Facile, selective, and programmable routes to helicenes or heterohelicenes are highly desirable yet challenging for structure-chiroptical property relationship studies. Herein, we report the synthesis and characterization of NBN-doped helicenes with boron atoms in the inner rims, enabled by the highly regioselective one-pot borylation of rationally designed precursors with, namely, fold-in or pan-out manner.
