Aim: This study aims to evaluate the impact of the National Tobacco Control Program initiative on the attitudes toward tobacco use and tobacco dependency among transgender individuals in Puducherry.

Materials And Methods: A Quasi-experimental design was used to examine the effectiveness of the intervention. The study involved 52 transgender individuals from the SCOHD organization in Puducherry.

Background: The robustness and persistence of vaccine antigen-induced antibodies are often used as proxy indicators of vaccine efficacy, but immune responses to vaccine vectors are typically less well-defined. Given their critical role in angiogenesis in other settings, we investigated the role of venous endothelial cells in endothelial regeneration after adult lung injury. Here we identified Slc6a2 as a marker of pulmonary venous endothelial cells and generated a venous-specific, inducible Cre mouse line.
