Detergent-compatible enzymes are the new trend followed by most in the detergent industry. Cellulases, lipases, proteases, and amylases are among the enzymes frequently used in detergents. Detergent-compatible enzymes can be obtained from many organisms, but the stability, cheapness, and availability of microbial enzymes make them preferable in industrial areas.

Materials And Methods: Retrospective records of cases who received the new closure technique were collected. Multifilament synthetic absorbable suture was used in this technique, with no additional tools.
From the dichloromethane extract of Nepeta sorgerae, the isolation and structure elucidation are now reported of a new isopimarane diterpenoid, named sorgerolone, and two known triterpenoids, oleanolic acid and ursolic acid. Antioxidant activity of the extracts and the isolated terpenoids was determined by the DPPH free radical scavenging and lipid peroxidation inhibition (beta-carotene bleaching) methods. Anticholinesterase activity of the extracts and isolates was investigated by Ellman's method against AChE and BChE enzymes.

Vinyl phenylboronic acid-ethylene glycol dimethacrylate co-polymer monoliths, which have pore sizes up to 20 μm, were investigated for extraction of catecholamines using adsorption and desorption studies in a batch system. Desorption yields of greater than 90% were achieved for catecholamines at pH 3 and below.

Electrophoresis microchips in a variety of channel lengths and designs were produced in borofloat glass for the μ-TAS studies. Chambers for the preparation of monolithic disks were formed in the microchips at the intersection of the injection and separation channels.
