There is less literature examining the usability and utility of telehealth by rural and low-income populations. Existing literature focuses on examining telehealth usability for specific telehealth platforms and specific use cases.

Development and evaluation of high fidelity, multidisciplinary simulation training course for high consequence infectious diseases using fluorescence visualisation.

Background: High consequence infectious diseases (HCID) include contact-transmissible viral haemorrhagic fevers and airborne-transmissible infections such as Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome. Assessing suspected HCID cases requires specialised infection control measures including patient isolation, personal protective equipment (PPE), and decontamination. There is need for an accessible course for NHS staff to improve confidence and competence in using HCID PPE outside specialist HCID centres.

Understanding and overcoming geographical barriers for scaling up dog vaccinations against rabies.

Rabies causes 59,000 human deaths annually in over 150 countries. Mass dog vaccination (MDV) is key to controlling dog rabies, requiring 70% coverage in the susceptible dog population to eliminate rabies deaths. MDV campaigns must achieve geographical homogeneity of coverage.

Respiratory symptoms and pulmonary function in paint industry workers exposed to volatile organic compounds: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Several epidemiological studies have examined the respiratory consequences of occupational exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs). However, their effects on paint industry workers in organised and unorganised occupational sectors vary. The present systematic review and meta-analysis aim at evaluating the respiratory symptoms and pulmonary function of paint industry workers from various occupational sectors exposed to VOCs.

Effects of orally administered clioquinol on the fecal microbiome of horses.

Background: Whereas restoration of fecal consistency after treatment with clioquinol for chronic diarrhea and free fecal water syndrome has been attributed to its antiprotozoal properties, actions of clioquinol on the colonic bacterial microbiota have not been investigated.

Objectives: Characterize the dynamics of fecal microbial diversity before, during, and after PO administration of clioquinol to healthy horses.

Study Design: Experimental prospective cohort study using a single horse group.
