Introduction Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is often associated with mortality and significant morbidity following renal transplantation leading to graft rejection or dysfunction. Primary CMV infection refers to the first detection of the virus in a person who has no prior evidence of CMV exposure before transplantation. CMV has a unique property called latency.

The present study investigated the impacts of environmentally relevant concentrations of the fluoroquinolone (FQ) antibiotic enrofloxacin (ENR), specifically 5 and 500 ng/L, in Mytilus galloprovincialis under ambient (20 °C) and predicted warming (25 °C) conditions after 14 days of exposure, followed by a 14-day recovery period in the absence of ENR. The chemical analyses revealed significant variability in bioaccumulation in mussel tissues.

The proposed control strategy guarantees the source current waveform to be sinusoidal and at near unity power factor. Further, the voltage sag and swell occurring in the source are overcome and the load gets a smooth power supply at a voltage closer to the rated voltage even in the face of voltage sag or swell occurring in the source.
