Two different anaerobic feeding strategies were compared to optimize the development and performance of aerobic granules. A stable aerobic granulation of activated sludge was achieved with an anaerobic plug flow operation (PI) and a fast influent step followed by an anaerobic mixing phase (PII). Two lab scale sequencing batch reactors (SBRs) were operated to test the different operation modes.

However, very limited data is available on long-term distribution in the body, excretion and corresponding dose. In this study we performed a 2 month follow-up of a patient who underwent MPI, by urine analysis and in vivo measurements.

The aim of this study was to compare the effects of bepridil and CERM 4205 on the QT-RR relation at different heart rates during rest and exercise and the results of pharmacologic tests designed to vary neurovegetative tone. Twelve healthy men (21 to 37 years) participated in a placebo-controlled, randomized, crossover, double-blind study and received either bepridil (200 mg/day twice daily) or CERM 4205 (200 mg/day twice daily), or matching placebo during three 14-day treatment periods at 2-week intervals.
