In this manuscript, readily available cephalosporin's drugs cefuroxime axetil (L1) cefpdoxime proxetil (L2), and cefditoren pivoxil (L3) possess dihydrothiazine ring as signaling unit, and -NH groups as the binding site were used for the sensing of fluoride (F) ions. In the presence of F, the drug selectively portrayed a naked-eye detectable color change from colorless. The binding constant of 1:1 stoichiometric complex of L1, L2, and L3 with F was found to be 2.

The objective of this prospective study was to assess tooth-related factors that play a role in the incidence of postoperative pain (PP) and determining if procedural errors influence PP occurrence. A total of 442 patients referred for root canal treatment met the inclusion criteria and were included in this prospective study. The same protocol was used in all root canal treatments.

Mandibular molar teeth with acute irreversible pulpitis pose challenges in single visit root canal treatment - (i) success of local anaesthesia and (ii) post-operative pain. One hundred and twenty-six patients with pain associated with carious mandibular molar teeth were enrolled. All patients were administered 10 mg of ketorolac tromethamine prior to local anaesthesia.
