[Our experience with targeted therapy in glioblastoma multiforme].

Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common and aggressive primary brain tumor in adults. The current standard therapy includes surgical resection or biopsy, followed by a combination of radiation and chemotherapy with temozolomide. After progression or recurrence there is only one recommended effective therapy, bevacizumab.

[Unusually located metastatic tumors of the spine--three case reports].

Metastatic spine tumors are representing a growing number of oncological patients. In this paper the authors would like to focus on a rare type of metastatic spine tumors, the unusually located ones. Since the advent of MRI and with the progress in general oncology this formerly rare tumors became more frequently recognized.

[Neurofibromatosis with abdominal and severe central nervous system complications].

A young male patient suffered in cutaneous neurofibromatosis was followed during four years. He developed tissue proliferations of various histological structures manifested in the skin, central nervous system and different splanchnic organs. The classification criteria of neurofibromatosis as well as the diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations are discussed.
