We detail the REACH radiometric system designed to enable measurements of the 21-cm neutral hydrogen line. Included is the radiometer architecture and end-to-end system simulations as well as a discussion of the challenges intrinsic to highly-calibratable system development. Following this, we share laboratory results based on the calculation of noise wave parameters utilising an over-constrained least squares approach.

Background: Approximately 20% of global tuberculosis incidence is attributable to undernutrition, increasing to more than a third in India. Targeting nutritional interventions to tuberculosis-affected households is a policy priority, but understanding of epidemiological and economic impacts is limited. We aimed to estimate the population-level epidemiological and economic effect of such an intervention.

Article Synopsis
  • Liposarcomas are the most common type of soft tissue sarcoma, primarily found in deep tissues and the retroperitoneum.
  • They include various classifications such as atypical lipomatous tumors, well-differentiated liposarcoma (WDL), dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDL), myxoid liposarcoma, and pleomorphic liposarcoma.
  • DDL is especially common in the retroperitoneum and can have both well-differentiated lipomatous and dedifferentiated components, sometimes resembling other aggressive tumors, and can even differentiate into several other cancer types or form bone tissue.

Approved inhibitors of KRASG12C prevent oncogenic activation by sequestering the inactive, GDP-bound (OFF) form rather than directly binding and inhibiting the active, GTP-bound (ON) form. This approach provides no direct target coverage of the active protein. Expectedly, adaptive resistance to KRASG12C (OFF)-only inhibitors is observed in association with increased expression and activity of KRASG12C(ON).
