Rearrangements of the gene drive epigenetic changes that lead to aberrant gene expression profiles that strongly favor leukemia development. Apart from this genetic lesion, the mutational landscape of -rearranged ALL is remarkably silent, providing limited insights for the development of targeted therapy.
