Fear of Missing Out's (FoMO) relationship with moral judgment and behavior.

Across three online studies, we examined the relationship between the Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and moral cognition and behavior. Study 1 (N = 283) examined whether FoMO influenced moral awareness, judgments, and recalled and predicted behavior of first-person moral violations in either higher or lower social settings. Study 2 (N = 821) examined these relationships in third-person judgments with varying agent identities in relation to the participant (agent = stranger, friend, or someone disliked).

Unlabelled: This cross-cultural study compared judgments of moral wrongness for physical and emotional harm with varying combinations of in-group vs. out-group agents and victims across six countries: the United States of America (N = 937), the United Kingdom (N = 995), Romania (N = 782), Brazil (N = 856), South Korea (N = 1776), and China (N = 1008). Consistent with our hypothesis we found evidence of an insider agent effect, where moral violations committed by outsider agents are generally considered more morally wrong than the same violations done by insider agents.

Exploration of outcome measures for assessing orthotic intervention in upper extremity peripheral nerve injuries: 2 case reports.

In upper extremity peripheral nerve injuries, orthotic intervention has been used as a valuable device to restore function. However, there is lacking evidence to support it. The purpose of this study was to explore the application of body function's outcome measures for orthotic intervention evaluation in patients with peripheral nerve injury.

Fibroblast activation protein drives tumor metastasis via a protease-independent role in invadopodia stabilization.

During metastasis, tumor cells invade through the basement membrane and intravasate into blood vessels and then extravasate into distant organs to establish metastases. Here, we report a critical role of a transmembrane serine protease fibroblast activation protein (FAP) in tumor metastasis. Expression of FAP and TWIST1, a metastasis driver, is significantly correlated in several types of human carcinomas, and FAP is required for TWIST1-induced breast cancer metastasis to the lung.
