Objectives: Since the results of the RECOVERY trial, WHO recommendations about the use of corticosteroids (CTs) in COVID-19 have changed. The aim of the study is to analyse the evolutive use of CTs in Spain during the pandemic to assess the potential influence of new recommendations.

1,4-Thiazepines derivatives are pharmacologically important heterocycles with different applications in medicinal chemistry. In the present work, we describe the preparation of new bicyclic thiazolidinyl-1,4-thiazepines by reaction between azadithiane compounds and Michael acceptors.
