Second Time Around: Increased Rate of Living Donation From Repeat Organ Donors.

Introduction: Some living organ donors will decide to donate again at a later date. Evidence has indicated that this practice may have increased in recent years. We evaluated the incidence and outcomes of this practice to inform counseling of potential repeat donors.

The application of quality improvement concepts, strategies, and tools to enhance participation in clinical trials among Latino families.

Underrepresentation of people from racial and ethnic minoritized groups in clinical trials threatens external validity of clinical and translational science, diminishes uptake of innovations into practice, and restricts access to the potential benefits of participation. Despite efforts to increase diversity in clinical trials, children and adults from Latino backgrounds remain underrepresented. Quality improvement concepts, strategies, and tools demonstrate promise in enhancing recruitment and enrollment in clinical trials.

The Prevalence of Depression Symptoms and Frequency of Risk Factors in Medical and Nursing Students: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.

Objective: Currently, in Puerto Rico, there is a paucity of data regarding emotional health and depression in health professionals, specifically regarding trainees such as medical students and nursing students. The study intended to shed light on the prevalence of depression symptoms among medical and nursing students at a school of medicine in Puerto Rico.

Methods: In the fall of 2019, a descriptive cross-sectional study that included nursing and medical students in their first, second, and third years was performed.

The dental triage method at Rothschild Hospital during the first lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Objective: This study aims to (1) assess the efficacy of a face-to-face emergency protocol in children and adults and (2) measure the efficacies of prediagnosis at the triage level and clinical diagnosis at the emergency department level during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: A triage protocol was applied for patients at the entry of the Rothschild Hospital (AP-HP) between March 18th and May 11th, 2020. First, patients underwent a triage based on self-reported symptoms.
