Purpose: This clinical study aimed to evaluate the color measurement ability of intraoral scanners (Trios 3, (3Shape, Copenhagen, Denmark) and Cerec Omnicam, (Dentsply Sirona, Charlotte, NC, USA) in comparison to VITA Classical and VITA 3D-Master shades obtained by a spectrophotometer (Easyshade V, VITA, Zahnfabrik, Bad Säckingen, Germany).

Methods: Four hundred eighty teeth from thirty patients were included in the study. Fifteen patients had never undergone bleaching, and the other fifteen had undergone professional bleaching within the last 6 months.

Staphylococci is an opportunistic bacterial population that is permanent in the normal flora of milk and poses a serious threat to animal and human health with some virulence factors and antibiotic-resistance genes. This study was aimed at identifying staphylococcal species isolated from raw milk and to determine hemolysis, biofilm, coagulase activities, and beta-lactam resistance. The raw milk samples were collected from the Düzce (Türkiye) region, and the study data represent a first for this region.

This retrospective study aimed to define outcomes and complications of endoscopic versus microscopic transsphenoidal surgery in pituitary adenoma. Data of 94 patients who underwent transsphenoidal endoscopic (n = 45) or microscopic surgery (n = 49) between June 2000 and June 2014 for pituitary adenoma, performed at Katip Çelebi University Hospital, were retrospectively analyzed. The patients' symptomatology, type of adenoma, radiologic findings, surgical outcomes, and preoperative and postoperative complications were investigated.

Mucocele of the appendix is an uncommon but potentially dangerous pathological entity that presents in a variety of ways. Therefore, optimal surgical therapy is controversial; while some authors adopt a simple appendectomy, others recommend extensive resection, such as right hemicolectomy. We report the case of an 83 years old woman who presented with cystic neoformation in the right iliac fossa that was preoperatively considered an appendiceal mass.
