Effects of Access Cavity Design and Placement Techniques on Mineral Trioxide Aggregate Obturation Quality in Simulated Immature Teeth: A Micro-Computed Tomography Study.

In teeth with open apices, performing single session apexification is a challenging treatment due to the difficulty in handling mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA). Minimally invasive approaches in dentistry have also influenced the cavity designs in endodontics. Until now, different techniques have not been investigated in addition to manual condensation during the process of placing MTA in traditional (TradACs) or conservative (ConsACs) endodontic access cavities.
