Assessment of Smell and Taste Disorders in COVID-19: A Cross-sectional Study.

Background: It has been reported worldwide that patients with a diagnosis of COVID-19 usually suffer a loss of smell and taste. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the relationship between the severity of the disease and the loss of smell and taste. In addition, we evaluated patients' smell and taste functions after recovery.

COVID-19 Presentation in Association with Myasthenia Gravis: A Case Report and Review of the Literature.

Currently, there are scarce data on how COVID-19 affects people with myasthenia gravis. Theoretically, there is a higher risk of experiencing severe manifestations of COVID-19 due to the common use of immunosuppressive drugs and potential respiratory failure in relation to respiratory muscle weakness. This is one of the early cases of COVID-19 reported in association with myasthenia gravis.

A comparative analysis of angiopoietin 2 immunohistochemical staining in various stages of lung cancer.

Objective: The role of Angiopoietin 2 (Ang 2), which is necessary for tumor growth, extension, and metastasis is not fully elucidated. The presented study aimed to investigate the relationship between Ang 2 staining intensity, expression rate in tumor tissue, and the stage of lung cancer.

Materials And Methods: Fifty cases of lung cancer (34 non-small and 16 small cell cases) were included in the study.
