Background: This study aims to evaluate the effects of education on home care of infected or suspected COVID-19 patients on the levels of knowledge, anxiety, and awareness of nursing students in Turkey.
Materials And Methods: The study is in quasi-experimental design. A sample of 158 volunteer students studying nursing at a private university in Turkey was formed.
Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effects of simulation-based training on triage decision-making skills and anxiety in fourth-year nursing students.
Methods: This study employed an experimental pretest-posttest design and randomly assigned 90 nursing students from adult and pediatric emergency internships to control (n = 48) and intervention groups (n = 42). Although both groups underwent triage decision-making training, only the intervention group received simulation-based triage training.
Purpose: Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendations (SBAR) is recommended as a standardized model to improve communication between health professionals and increase patient safety. Correct use of the SBAR model reduces communication errors, facilitates rapid decision-making, and increases patient safety. Therefore, effective use of the SBAR model among health care professionals contributes to safer patients.
