Here, a CMOS neural probe advancing lateral sampling for mapping intracortical neural dynamics (both LFPs and spikes) in awake, behaving mice from an area >4 mm is demonstrated.

Extremely rare association: Desbuquois dysplasia type 1 with coronary-cameral fistula.

Purpose: Desbuquois dysplasia type 1 is a rare autosomal recessive chondrodysplasia characterised by distinct skeletal abnormalities and multisystem involvement, including pulmonary, renal, and ocular abnormalities, has also been reported. Cardiac complications, although infrequently discussed in the literature, include aortopathy and atrioventricular valve prolapse, potentially due to defective proteoglycan production.

Complex Congenital Cardiac Defect Associated with the Combination of 5p Deletion and 4q Duplication in a Newborn: A Case Report.

Introduction: Congenital cardiac defects are defined in cases with the deletion of the short arm of chromosome 5 and the duplication of the long arm of chromosome 4. Septal defects and patent ductus arteriosus are among the most common defects reported in the literature.

Case Presentation: We reported on a case with a complex congenital cardiac defect, dysmorphic facial features, cat-like cry, hypotonia, hyporeflexia, weak swallowing and sucking, limb anomalies, and bilateral undescended testicles.

This randomized controlled study was conducted to evaluate the effects of telephone-assisted breastfeeding monitoring on physiological jaundice, exclusive breastfeeding in the first six months, colic, breastfeeding success, and breastfeeding self-efficacy. Breastfeeding and infant care training were given to pregnant women by video calls (N = 54). Video call counseling was provided to the mothers in the intervention group (n = 27) every day for the first week after discharge and weekly until the 24th week, and the control group (n = 27) was only telephone called in follow-up weeks.

Activity of CDK4/6 inhibitors and parameters affecting survival in elderly patients in age-subgroups: Turkish Oncology Group (TOG) retrospective study.

Highly selective inhibitors of cyclin-dependent kinase 4 and 6 (CDK4/6is) have emerged as a standart of care for first- and second-line therapies in combination with endocrine therapy (ET) for HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients. It has been reported that combination therapy is more effective than ET alone and is safe in elderly patients as well as young patients. Nevertheless, elderly and very old patients with HR+/HER2-MBC treated with CDK4/6 inhibitor (CDK4/6i) combinations are relatively underrepresented in randomized controlled trials.

Introduction: Although separate immunogenic mechanisms are involved, IgE-type sensitization to wheat and celiac disease (CD) may coexist. We observationally assessed the importance of this relationship in daily practice using CD and wheat sensitization screenings.

Methods: Celiac antibody (CA) screening and food prick tests (FPTs) were requested simultaneously from patients who presented to the Allergy Clinic between January 2022 and December 2023 and had any complaint accompanied by CD symptoms/findings (non-celiac group).

Efficacy of everolimus plus hormonal treatment after cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor; real-life experience, A TOG study.

Purpose: In advanced breast cancer, endocrine therapy is preferred in the absence of visceral crisis. Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors (CDKi) are the gold standards.
