Objective: This study was conducted to determine the social stigma toward substance use disorders in Turkey.
Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 3,130 participants in Turkey. The Sociodemographic Information Form and the Public Stigma toward Substance Use Disorder Scale were used to collect data.
Objective: This study determined the mediating role of knowledge about epilepsy in the relationship between attitudes toward epilepsy and health literacy in Turkey.
Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted in Turkey with 4,393 participants. The sociodemographic form, Epilepsy Attitude Scale, Epilepsy Knowledge Scale, and Health Literacy Scale were used for data collection.
Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the rates and risk factors associated with revision amputation following ischemic lower major limb amputations, focusing on cases related to peripheral arterial disease.
Patients And Methods: This retrospective study included 253 patients (174 males, 79 females; mean age: 73.1±12.
This descriptive study was conducted with 406 physicians to evaluate fear of malpractice, burnout and spiritual well-being among physicians in Turkey. In our study, 81.5%, 11.

Methods: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 173 relatives of patients with epilepsy who were admitted to the neurology outpatient clinic of a university hospital in Van Province, eastern Turkey, between April and December 2021. Individual information forms, the Epilepsy Stigma Scale Patient's Relative, and the Epilepsy Attitude Scale were used to collect the data.
Background: Electrocardiographic (ECG) features of left bundle branch (LBB) block (LBBB) can be observed in up to 20%-30% of patients suffering from heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. However, predicting which LBBB patients will benefit from cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) or conduction system pacing remains challenging. This study aimed to establish a translational model of LBBB to enhance our understanding of its pathophysiology and improve therapeutic approaches.

The nucleocapsid (N) protein is an important target for drugs and vaccines. The main purpose of this study is to detect missense mutations in the SARS-CoV-2 N protein and to reveal the effects of these mutations on protein structure by using in silico approaches.

Although the exact cause of MS is still unclear, environmental, and genetic factors are known to play a role in the development of disease. New molecular markers must be identified to understand the mechanism of disease formation and progression.

Energy is an essential requirement for sustainable development, society, and the world. Turkey has been trying to increase the use of renewable sources in electricity energy production with the incentive policies it has implemented in recent years. Accordingly, in the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, targets to increase the installed capacity of renewable energy sources have been determined.

Objectives: To evaluate the effects of intra-rectal ozone application on rectal anastomoses after radiotherapy.
Background: Silent cranial embolism due to carotid artery stenting has been demonstrated to cause dementia, cognitive decline, and even ischemic stroke. The purpose of this study was to compare the periprocedural asymptomatic cranial embolism rates of different stent designs used for extracranial carotid stenosis with diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging.
Methods: A total of 507 consecutive patients who underwent carotid artery stenting at our center from December 2010 to June 2020 (mean age, 66.
Background: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) regulate gene expression post-transcriptionally via mRNA degradation. As a result, they have an impact on a variety of pathways in organisms that are important for both health and disease. miRNAs can be used as potential diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic biomarkers for immune and nervous system-related diseases such as MS.

In many cases, they face a trade-off between maximizing their own payoff and those of other individuals. What inferences are made in such instances about their choices when only outcomes are observable? We conduct two experiments that investigate whether outcomes are attributed to luck or choices.

Materials And Methods: 18 Sprague-Dawley adult male rats treated with unilateral sciatic nerve block by bupivacaine (0.2 ml) were randomly divided into three groups.
Terminal deletions in the long arm of chromosome 4 are an uncommon event, with a worldwide incidence of approximately 0.001%. The majority of these deletions occur de novo.

With -body simulations we show that both distinguishing features can result from a stellar-mass black hole population, comprising ~ 20% of the present-day cluster mass. In this scenario, Palomar 5 formed with a 'normal' black hole mass fraction of a few per cent, but stars were lost at a higher rate than black holes, such that the black hole fraction gradually increased.

An important impact can be expected from Artificial Intelligence throughout the workflow of radiotherapy (such as automated organ segmentation, treatment planning, prediction of outcome and quality assurance). However, ethical concerns regarding the binding agreement between the patient and the physician have followed the introduction of artificial intelligence.

The purpose of our study was to determine the role of parameters showing atrial conduction heterogeneity such as P‑wave dispersion (PWD) and atrial electromechanical delay (AEMD) in predicting the development of SVA in MVP patients.
Methods: A total of 76 patients with MVP (56 female, 20 male) were included in the study.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic performance of Inhance 3D Velocity (I3DV) in intracranial venous thrombosis and investigate the possible impact of venous sinus hypoplasia/aplasia on false thrombosis diagnosis made with I3DV.
Methods: This study included 540 patients. Contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance venography combined with conventional sequences was considered the gold standard test (GST), while I3DV was considered as diagnostic test.
