Effect of Virtual Reality on Pain, Anxiety, and Vital Signs in Endoscopy.

Aim: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of relaxation exercise with VR (Virtual Reality) glasses on pain severity, anxiety level, and vital signs in patients undergoing endoscopy.

Methods: This is a quasi-experimental study including a control group with a pretest/post-test applied. This study was conducted with a total of 100 patients, including 50 patients in the intervention and 50 patients in the control group.

The Effect of the Flipped Classroom in a Nursing Informatics Course on Nursing Students' Knowledge and Readiness Levels, System Usability.

The flipped classroom method to be used in the nursing informatics course can increase nursing students' engagement and learning outcomes. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of flipped classroom education on nursing students' readiness for the flipped classroom model of education, as well as the usability of the flipped classroom and how this model impacts the level of students' knowledge in a nurse informatics course. The nursing students received 6 weeks of classic education and 6 weeks of flipped classroom education in the nursing informatics course.

Adaptation of the disease-related apathy scale in adults with epilepsy into Turkish: A methodological study.

Objective: This study was conducted to culturally adapt the Epilepsy-Related Apathy Scale in Adults with Epilepsy (E-RAS) to Turkish and to assess its psychometric properties in adult epilepsy patients.

Methods: A total of 172 epilepsy patients receiving care at the Neurology clinic and outpatient clinic of Fırat University Hospital from February to July 2023 were included in this methodological investigation. The E-RAS was translated into Turkish, and its content and construct validity were thoroughly examined.

Methods: This study was completed with 82 women with epilepsy who were sexually active and who were admitted to the neurology clinic and outpatient clinic between June and September 2022. The descriptive information form, Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (IPQ-B), and Pregnancy Avoidance Scale (PAS) were used to collect the data.
