As future health care leaders who work and train in diverse clinical settings, resident physicians are uniquely positioned to advance sustainable health care systems. However, residents are insufficiently educated about health care sustainability and given limited opportunities to engage in planetary health. Proposed Solution: The slides, an evidence-based, open-access pedagogical tool that provides didactic planetary health medical education organized by medical subspecialty, was developed and evaluated by a virtual lecture session that presented a subset of the slides to = 75 Canadian medical students.
Increasing numbers of health-care professionals are aware of the need to deliver low-carbon sustainable health systems. We aimed to explore how physicians can be motivated and supported to pursue this ambition by conducting an exploratory qualitative descriptive study that involved individual in-depth interviews with climate-engaged Canadian physicians participating in health-care sustainability advocacy and action. Interview transcripts were analysed to identify themes related to the actions that physicians can take to promote sustainable health care, and the motivators and enablers of physician engagement in sustainable health care.

Objectives: This study hypothesizes that children and adolescents with chronic MSK pain (CPs) will show differences in electroencephalography (EEG) features at rest and during thermal pain modalities when compared with age-matched controls.
Methods: One hundred forty-two CP patients and 45 age-matched healthy controls (HCs) underwent a standardized thermal tonic heat and cold stimulations, while a 21-electrode headset collected EEG data.
The Community Health and Social Medicine (CHASM) Incubator is a social impact venture that gives medical and other health care students the opportunity to develop initiatives that sustainably promote health equity for, and in partnership with, community partners and historically marginalized communities. Students learn how to develop projects with project management curricula, are paired with community health mentors, and are given seed micro-financing. As the first community health incubator driven by medical students, CHASM provides a framework for students interested in implementing sustainable solutions to local health disparities which extends the service-learning opportunities offered in existing curricula.

Study Design And Methods: A series of bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell collection procedure diagrams were developed, featuring young adult male donors of varied ethnic backgrounds. Post-implementation, surveys were conducted to evaluate stakeholder perspective on the diagrams' utility.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the uptake and longitudinal impact of exercise and enrichment on the behavioural phenotype of male and female CD-1 mice. CD-1 mice housed in standard (STD) or exercise and enrichment (EE) conditions post-weaning were tested in the 3-chamber sociability test, open field, and elevated plus maze and exercise activity was monitored throughout the enrichment protocol.
