Humanoid robots are increasingly being utilized in various activities involving humans, as they can facilitate certain tasks and provide benefits to users. Humanoid service robots possess capabilities akin to human performance, often proving advantageous due to their operational speed and immunity to fatigue. Within the scope of this study, Pepper, a humanoid robot renowned for its fidelity in mimicking human gestures and behavior, serves as the focal point.

In this paper, we present an analysis of important aspects that arise during the development of neural network applications. Our aim is to determine if the choice of library can impact the system's overall performance, either during training or design, and to extract a set of criteria that could be used to highlight the advantages and disadvantages of each library under consideration. To do so, we first extracted the previously mentioned aspects by comparing two of the most popular neural network libraries-PyTorch and TensorFlow-and then we performed an analysis on the obtained results, with the intent of determining if our initial hypothesis was correct.

Lately, the software development industry is going through a slow but real transformation. Software is increasingly a part of everything, and, software developers, are trying to cope with this exploding demand through more automation. The pipelining technique of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) has developed considerably due to the overwhelming demand for the deployment and deliverability of new features and applications.

Robots can be very different, from humanoids to intelligent self-driving cars or just IoT systems that collect and process local sensors' information. This paper presents a way to increase dependability for information exchange and processing in systems with Cloud-Fog-Edge architectures. In an ideal interconnected world, the recognized and registered robots must be able to communicate with each other if they are close enough, or through the Fog access points without overloading the Cloud.

Structural dynamic modeling is a key element in the analysis of building behavior for different environmental factors. Having this in mind, the authors propose a simple nonlinear model for studying the behavior of buildings in the case of earthquakes. Structural analysis is a key component of seismic design and evaluation.

This article describes handling medical data in a healthcare system based on electronic healthcare records. At a medical unit level, data storage requires both accurate collecting and high security. The proposed information model complies with EN 13606, which is a European health data communication standard approved by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and partly approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
