Study Objectives: In coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), abnormal cardiac repolarization is associated with adverse cardiovascular events that can be measured via the QTc interval. We investigated the impact of obstructive sleep apnea on the change in repolarization after CABG and the association of change in repolarization with the occurrence of major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events.

A causal relationship between physical activity and cancer prevention has not been firmly established in the medical literature. The Ou MC decrescendo phenomenon treatment (OuDPt) is a self-administered protocol in which placing the contralateral hand on or near the affected area of the body produces a zone of decreased pain or inflammation. OuDPt has also been shown to elicit an anti-cancer effect that consistently induces tumor regression in several cancer types, including uterine, ovarian, and pancreatic cancer, with documented apoptosis and squamous metaplasia in uterine endometrial cancer.

Naproxen is widely used for anti-inflammatory treatment but it can lead to serious side effects. To improve the anti-inflammatory activity and safety, a novel naproxen derivative containing cinnamic acid (NDC) was synthesized and used in combination with resveratrol. The results showed that the combination of NDC and resveratrol at different ratios have a synergistic anti-inflammatory efficacy in RAW264.

By searching the randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of acupuncture and moxibustion from CNKI since its inception date to december 31 of 2019, the development status and hot trend of RCTs of acupuncture and moxibustion in China were summarized. The CiteSpace and VOSviewer software were used to perform keyword co-occurrence analysis, clustering analysis, time-zone analysis and citation-burst analysis, and visual map was drawn. As a result, a total of 60 995 articles were included, which were published in 1027 academic journals with 1787 keywords.

Multifunctional self-healing hydrogels have recently attracted considerable interest in biomedical applications owing to their diverse properties, including self-healing, adhesion, conduction, antibacterial, and stimulus-response, which can meet various application requirements, ranging from wound dressings and delivery vehicles to the production of scaffolds for tissue repair and regeneration. As a natural polycationic polysaccharide with good biocompatibility, chitosan is widely used in hydrogel formation as there are many amino and hydroxyl groups along the chains that can actively participate in various physical effects and chemical reactions, which enable it to construct self-healing hydrogels and fulfill multiple functions. In this review, the formation of chitosan-based self-healing hydrogels and the related self-healing mechanism are summarized, including Schiff base, metal coordination, ionic and hydrogen bonds, hydrophobic and host-guest interactions, with a focus on the strategies for their multi-functionalization.
