These materials are limited in their performance due to the mechanical instability of these systems resulting from volume expansion of the material during cycling. Stabilizing conversion materials using a conductive polymer binder (CPB) protective layer is an effective way to enhance the performance of these materials.

Take it Personal!+ is a personalized treatment based on motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy supported by an mHealth application.

Are Genetic and Environmental Risk Factors for Psychopathology Amplified in Children with Below-Average Intelligence? A Population-Based Twin Study.

There is a negative association between intelligence and psychopathology. We analyzed data on intelligence and psychopathology to assess this association in seven-year-old Dutch twin pairs (ranging from 616 to 14,150 depending on the phenotype) and estimated the degree to which genetic and environmental factors common to intelligence and psychopathology explain the association. Secondly, we examined whether genetic and environmental effects on psychopathology are moderated by intelligence.

Purpose: A treatment-specific rehabilitation protocol and well-defined return-to-play criteria guide clinical decision-making on return to normal function, activity, sports and performance after surgical treatment for osteochondral lesion of the talus (OLT). The optimal rehabilitation protocols in the current literature remain unclear. The purpose of this study was to explore the existing literature on rehabilitation protocols from the early postoperative phase to return to sport onwards after different types of surgical treatment of OLTs.

Studies found support for a link between pubertal timing and self-regulation in low-resource environments. This link could potentially explain a link between pubertal timing and early risk behavior. This study builds on this body of research by examining the mediated effect of pubertal timing on sexual activity through self-regulation in 728 adolescents and their families in a group with poor resources and a group with adequate resources.

Axial loading in rodents provides a controlled setting for mechanical loading, because load and subsequent strain, frequency, number of cycles and rest insertion between cycles, are precisely defined. These methodological aspects as well as factors, such as ovariectomy, aging, and disuse may affect the outcome of the loading test, including bone mass, structure, and bone mineral density. This review aims to overview methodological aspects and modifying factors in axial loading on bone outcomes.

The feasibility of daily monitoring in adolescents and young adults with mild intellectual disability or borderline intellectual functioning.

Background: It is unclear whether the limitations of young persons with a mild intellectual disability or borderline intellectual functioning preclude feasibility of the daily diary method.

Method: For 60 consecutive days, 50 participants (M  = 21.4, 56% male) who receive care in an ambulatory, residential, or juvenile detention setting, self-rated both standardised and personalised diary questions through an app.

The evolutionary history of the three Kai proteins indicates that KaiC is the oldest member and a central component of the clock. Staff-client relationships impact the quality of support and life of people with severe to profound intellectual disabilities and challenging behavior, but are challenging to build due to clients' intense, complex and varying support needs. The present study explores the perspectives of professionals and relatives on what affects these interpersonal relationships. 17 professionals and 11 relatives participated in focus groups and interviews.

The online mindset intervention 'The Growth Factory' for adolescents with intellectual disabilities: moderators and mediators.

Background: The online mindset intervention The Growth Factory (TGF) has shown promising effects-increasing growth mindsets and perseverance and decreasing mental health problems among youth with intellectual disabilities (ID). Studying moderators and mediators of intervention effects is essential to elucidate for whom and why TGF works. Using a randomised controlled trial design, we examined youth's baseline mindset, gender, age, level of ID and intervention satisfaction as moderators of TGF effects and examined whether the intervention effects of TGF on improvements in mental health were mediated by perseverance.
